I purchased a car from this company. I got a loan approved through my credit union, and got low financing. When I went to pick up the car, they told me that I had to sign some paperwork.
The loan officer kept up a patter the whole time, asking me questions. I had a feeling that something was off - I should have paid more attention to this feeling. I ended up signing a contract to purchase the car from them, through the credit union. They charged me 3% more than my credit union offered to me.
My credit union - Southland Credit Union - did not even reveal to me that there was a "Cuddle Loan". I had never heard of this and if they had warned me, I would have known to refuse to sign the papers.
I know - the experts say to read everything you sign. I should have read at least the top part of the contract where it states the interest rate. I would have been able to determine that he was ripping me off.
Shame on you Huntington Beach Mazda!
My brother is a used car salesman (we are not close). He says, "If you are stupid enough to get taken by me, I will rip you off"! So buyer beware!!
