I placed an order of 3 different bouquets going to Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Pennsylvania got hers on Mother's Day but not Tennessee nor North Carolina. I filed a claim with PayPal on that day (Mother's Day, BTW) When I received this email:
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery Monday with a backup of Tuesday with a note of apology explaining the delay or we would be happy to even call the recipient to personally apologize. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Ok, I should have been offered a discount for the lateness but hey if they couldnt find a florist then they couldnt find a florist. Stuff happens and it was mother's day! Probably the busiest day of the year for a florist! This empathetic-benefit-of-the-doubt attitude soon turned sour.
Tennessee got hers on Monday but North Carolina didnt. Tuesday came and nothing again, so I checked my claim on Paypal.
F You Flowers responded back letting me know that they will refund me 41.98 for the flowers North Carolina didnt get. I know know the exact date they responded and I will explain this in a few. I waited a couple of days and nothing happened so I emailed F You Flowers and I received no response after 3 days, so I called on May 11th and spoke with a rep who told me that she spoke with the fianance dept who will put through the refund to pay pal today.
May 18! Still no refund so I escalated my claim through Paypal.
May 27 (today)! Paypal is still waiting for F You Flowers to respond so I called F You Flowers and immediately asked for a Supervisor. She offered her help before connecting me to a Sup. I explained to her what happened and she told me that my refund didnt go through because I have to cancel my claim with Pay Pal in order for the refund to go through. WTF? I thought Paypal set up those claims to help you get your refund. I cancelled my claim and I am awaiting for my refund. Still!
