Ripoff failed to respond, and/or honor warrantee on engine Mannchester New Hampshire Internet

A little over a year ago my company contracted with NECO Engines to install a remanufactured engine in a 1993 Lincoln Continental.

We were refered to two NECO shops by a number listed on the internet. After the car was picked up by the local NECO shop in Milford Connecticut we were told that we woul have to order a new radiator also because they said "The Lincoln Continental was notorous for head gasket trouble" and it was ususlly caused by poor cooling. We Agreed. After the engine was installed and we received the car we followed all the proceedurerss requirted for maintaining the warrantee.

Around 6,000 miles the engine required adding coolant almost every time it was driven. This was made evident by the fact that the heater stoped producing heat. When we tried to contact the Milford NECO shop we discovered that it no longer existed.

The other shop in Hartford no longer listed a phone number for NECO either so I called the 800 number that I again found on the internet.

We were told that because the NECO shop in Milford was out of business the warramtee is void. They refuse to honor the warrantee or even refer us to another so called NECO replacement Center. They do not respond to any calls from us or a friend who tried to help.
