Gurnee VW (Gurnee Volkswagen) places Pre-Owned Certified Cards in the windows of all of its used VW's regardless of whether they are certified/inspected or not, according to Pam, comptroller for all Rohrman Dealerships. Sounds to me like false advertising and fraud. I was had.
I was told that my car was VW Pre-Owned Certified and have the card to proove it. Recently when I found out that they sold me an unsafe car, they told me that my paperwork was lost and I didn't have a warranty.
My car was deemed a fire hazard. They wouldn't help me, and they started harassing me. Now they don't want to admit that they are at fault so I've filed suit. I will never buy from a Bob Rohrman Auto Dealer again in my life.
If you purchase a Pre-Owned Certified Vehicle, tell them you want a copy of the inspection report.
Bob Rohrman Auto Group brought me to court on the Anti-Cyber Squatting Policy Act b/c I tried telling my story on my website in good faith of informing other consumers. They have harassed me through the website, through litigation costs. They misled Volkswagen of America into filing frivolous charges against me saying I'm an extortionist.in my opinion, these cars are "Sucker Cars". Great marketing tactics but can't stand behind their product.
