Dear Mr. Goldman: I’m writing this letter to The Party Ride to file a complaint as a very, very, unhappy customer. My very first complaint among several is that there was no air-conditioning on the bus. My patrons were sweating profusely. When this was brought to the attention of the hostess she informed us that the air was on the highest it could go. The bus driver tried to turn it up also that’s when the air vents on the driver side starting dripping water like a leaky faucet on several of my guest wetting their hair and clothes. The seats were so soaked that the driver and hostess had to close the vents with towels. Now I have a situation were no air and water is leaking. How are people to enjoy themselves?
Another complaint besides there being no air, the floor in the back by the engine kept jumping open from the engine which no one could sit there because the floor was unstable but the heat the was emitting from that area was just like being in a brick oven.
Another complaint we couldn’t use the bathroom because no one could put tissue in the toilet it had to be put in the trash bucket as per your hostess. How disgusting is that. As women we have special needs that we need to attend too. I was annoyed, embarrassed and disgusted all in one. Some of my guest didn’t even bother to use the bathroom. The bathroom smelled horrible like a public restroom at a truck stop and the women that were older who didn’t have a choice but use the bathroom couldn’t even wash their hands which is not sanitary at all. Do you realize how much germs and viruses can be spread that way? Also, with food being on the bus is very, very unsanitary. Your company posed a heath risk to all passengers for inadequate ventilation and insufficient bathroom accommodations.
My experience was to be enjoyable for my guest and I and it was horrible in the worst way. My friends/family that were considering using your services was disgusted by everything and they will not be using your company or referring anyone to your company and that speaks for me too. We paid for luxury service and your company did not hold up. Not only was the bus a beat down and fifthly. The seats and floors were dirty nothing like what you advertised. The amount of money that was charged to use the Queen Sophia is a complete joke. I am requesting to be refunded in the amount $1,000.00 and the only reason why I’m not requesting the full balance is because the only service you did provide was to get us to AC and back.
If I have to pursue this matter further I will through BBB, Board of Health, DOT and small claims court I will. I did not enjoy myself at all and neither did my attendees. I paid for services that were not adequately supplied as advertised.
