On Aug. 19 I went to Dixie Auto Security to inquire about having a passive alarm and entry system removed from truck and have a new keyless entry system installed. I was told by the owner Ashley LaQue that the part must be ordered.
I was told it would be about 3 days to get the system, and that I would be called when the part arrived. The total cost was to be $140.00. I was required to leave $50.00 cash deposit.
Because of an inoperative telephone system via Bell South, the business could not accept credit or debit cards.
It is now September 24. I have not heard a single word from the owners of Dixie Window Tinting and Auto Security. I have made several trips, a distance of 21 miles one way to the shop, and each time the owners were not present. They do have 2 employees working there, but they tell me they are not authorized to make refunds, and do not have access to the cash drawer. I have left several messages on the owners' cell phones, and none of those calls have ever been returned.
I have since taken my truck to another place of business to have the work done, without any problems.
