Ripoff harrassing calls after check sent by ins company and arcadia released title Internet

After our car was totalled by Hurricane Isabelle and our Wonderful Insurance Co Nationwide (The Best) quickly took the car and gave us a fair pay off we continued to make our sept payment.

We were in possession of a letter from our insurance company stating that a check was being paid to Arcadia TransSouth in the amount of 13650 balance was 14800 at that point. Letter was dated Sept 21.

We and the insurance company both were in contact with this company within 2 days of the loss the loss was Sept 18.

WE made our Sept 20 payment and felt at ease that they would get their check and title released within the next month.

Their was no communications from Arcadia until the October payment became late. No mail nothing.
When they called me November 5 to tell me that where is this payment for October, their collector was not aware of any settlements or anything. I was told I had to contact my and their claims dept to find out what was going on in their own bank!

Turns out Arcadia agreed to take 13650 ck and send a releasement and as of that date Nationwide did not receive it from Arcadia.

After my phone calls they released it and a check was sent to Arcadia for the 13650. After my Sept payment the balance was 14400 (est) Their was approximately 800.00 balance. Even after 5 phone calls of harrassment during this week of November 15 and Arcsadia stated they did receive Nstionwides check they keep calling me on my Cell Phone and harrassing me. I spoke to their adjuster two days ago and to avoid headache and keep a clean credit record I got a payoff figure of 936 around their and sent a post office money order out and I told her and two people who have called every day this.

Again they keep calling my Cell Phone and here it is Saturday morning I am being called and harrassed again.
I and my husband are disabled and lost that car and truck and our home during that hurricane. These people are the worst as far as customer service. I am a retired Office Manager and know this kind of business as I worked for large firms.

The three years I have had this loan the october payment was the first to be late due no fault of mine. It was theirs for not proccessing the releasement letter to Nationwide. The november payment is not due until Nov 20 and they are calling for that too! People DO NOT Trust this Company put everything in writing. My Next step is to report to the BBB about calling my cell phone interstate and the harrassment.
