I got a 1996 Ford Taurus in September of '09 i had not even had my car for a good month and it had to go in the shop.
Every time i start my car it sounds like my starter. But it is really my fuel pump this was covered under my warranty and UAC refused to fix it because the said that"it was not worn out yet".
So i then have to take it back about a month later because my transmission was slipping and they told me it was because someone who had the car before me hit the Tranny pan and it is leaking.
Now mind you they are charging me $10,000 dollars for a car that sounds like crap when it starts up.
May i tear my Achilles Tendon and i am off of work for about a month and a half and i call them to see if they can take my payment out of one check told them what happened and that my rent comes first because i do have children.
I get this rude person asking me can you prove that and i told her yes and she says"unfortunately there is northing i can do"o i told them that i would stop it through my bank and they could get all of there money on my next paydate.
They were not pleased they had another person call me and tell me to ask Family because i need to pay. I aksed if they could at least wait until that Friday and i would pay what i owe.
He tells me "Let me see if you qualify for payment arragements"He is literally of the phone for 30 seconds and says"Iam sorry you don't qalify at this time" I infrom him that i have never been late on a payment andi i just need 3 more days.
He says"I will giev you 24 hours" so Iaske him what is theprocedures will you guys cpme and pick my car up or will i be able to pay in 3 days he says"Ican't tellyou are policy on collections"
So I just fee like they are scammers who aonly care about money Carhop pulss you in with this false hope. Just to be giving a lemon and paying these outlanshish amounts of money for trash...
