I am somebody with bad credit due to stupid choices made when I was younger. I went to CarHop so excited that they were willing to work with me, so in turn I would get my credit score higher. They deal with a finacing company called Univeral Acceptance Corp. (UAC) Let me tell you before I made this mistake DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. If you are so much as ONE day late you get about 3-10 calls a day (I completly understand if they call once to remind me). I've told them about 3 times I'm NOT allowed calls at my work and now this last time when I said that to the lady I spoke to, she said my SUPERVISER needed to contact them to tell them that, which is NOT true. What they are doing is illegal and they think I'm somebody who doesn't know how to look into laws. Also, my Mom was a co-signer on my lease. She passed away MONTHS ago and I have told them NUMEROUS times and heard MANY times that it's in thier notes on my account, yet they still call and ask for her. Once again. This company is horrible, the people who work there are RUDE (I think I've spoken to one nice one) and they don't care how they get the money you owe. Yes, I have bad credit, but that doesn't mean I deserve to be treated this way. I hope this keeps atleast one person from doing what I did.
