Purchased a brand new $170 Optima red-top battery online in August. One feature to warrant the high-cost was a-3 year replacement guarantee. Significantly less than 24 months later it died and may not be energized (attempted all their guidelines and nothing worked). Optima doesn't manage guarantee on the batteries - you've togo through the seller you purchased it from, and wish they're still running a business. Compelled to consume another $60 in two way return delivery towards the merchant. Might have been cheaper to purchase 3 batteries at Sears or Autozone. Wont online purchase another Optima, probably will not purchase another Optima anyhow. The greatest guarantee on the planet isn't any great when there is no body to recognize it or you've to pay for plenty of bucks for shipping both methods.
