Employees should actually fix the problems the clients ASK to fix.
I've had a problem with Tires Plus Business from the very first visit. I had purchased a oil change when I first bought my car 3 years ago. Had no problems until it was time to change the oil again. When i went under my car to change the filter I had found out that it was a low cheap Made in Taiwan Filter with no brand name at all. This made me skeptical of what cheap parts the company purchases. Also the problem with the cheap filter is that it was tighten on with a powertool and COULD NOT get it off with any Filter Tool on the market. (trust me, I spend a wopping 80 bucks on Different Filter Tools and none of them could even make it budge). The only way to even get the Filter off was to take my Front Right tire off and BUST the Filter itself. When you need to take a tire off to get the filter off, its obviously way too tightened.
After putting the tire on, after a few months Ive noticed a weird noise from the same tire and after going up to 35-70mph it would become louder and wobble on the interstate. I could def feel it in the steering wheel and pedals. So fearing that continuing to drive would result in the tire flying off, I took it back to Tires Plus and Told the desk that I dont know whats wrong with it but you need to check out the Front Right Tire. They instantly charged me for Flat Tire (which i didnt have at all) and wheel balancing BEFORE they even checked the car (I have the paper to prove it). After Waiting 3 hours (ridiculous amount of time to wait) they told me there was a nail in the tire and it was the reason it was making noise. This seem like a bad scam to me since I've checked that tire front and back and there was no nail in it and the fact that they charged for flat tire before they checked it out made it even more skeptical. I reluctantly payed the charge and trust it was fixed. After cranking the car and going less than a mile away from the shop it was obvious they did NOTHING to the car, was making even louder noise and still wobble at high speeds. This instantly infuriated me so i googled the symptoms and it pointed to tire bearings. I took the car to a local Trusted Car shop and describe the problems and they instantly knew what was wrong and said it was the Tire Bearings to.
IF I had continued to drive on the tire it would eventually rip off and at interstate Speeds it would of possibly be a fatal crash. If Tires Plus would done their job and check the tire like i said there would be no problem but since they didnt and IF i did not go to the trusted mechanic and the tire DID come off and I had gotten in a fatal accident then it would lead Tires Plus with Involuntary Manslaughter. After dealing with this I would like a refund for the tire.
