On 4-27, I Ruth Johnson purchased a vehicle from "COLORADO RIVER FORD PREOWNED " group AKA: WILEY AUTO GROUP. On 5-04, I took the car in to have the oil changed as a start to my vehicle maintenance program. Within two weeks my temperature gauge started to spike. I then checked the coolant and found the resevoir EMPTY. I filled it. Everything is fine. Now, two weeks later the same thing happens. I refill my coolant. Now I worry. I go online and MIDAS has a special. Check hoses for free. Today 6-1, I take it to MIDAS, where they tell me that my "head gaskets " are shot. They also tell me that their co. Has repaired at least four cars that COLORADO RIVER FORD has sold. I go back to COLORADO RIVER FORD and asked them what they are going to do about it. They said it was out of warranty. (15days or 500 miles). They give me a second opinion, COLORADO RIVER FORD tells me it's my water pump that's leaking. It will cost me $1,050;which they will not pay for. I asked them why didn't they see the leak on 5-4 when they did the oil change, as the leak is approx. 2 in. From the oil filter. They said that they do not know if it was leaking then.
Do I have any recourse? I am going to email Az. And ask if ther is a LEMONLAW.
