I purchased a vehicle from Mount Washington Auto Mart. I had made previous arrangements with them to hold a check until the end of this month for the down payment. The owner had my check cashed 2 weeks early, then refused to make things right, (i.E. Reimburse me for the NSF fees that my bank charged me). Yesterday, I went to the car lot and the owner told me in front of my kids, "I will gladly accept another post dated check, you have until tomorrow to bring it to me". One hour later, there was a tow truck in my driveway, to take the vehicle. I have tried numerous times to contact the owner, WHEN I can get him on the phone, he hangs up on me when I identify myself, or just refuses to take my calls. I called today to find out where the vehicle was so that I could remove my personal affects, I was told it was already at auction, not to mention still refusing to take my calls. I have had to call the police department where I live just so that I could get my stuff out of it. I have also contacted the local newspapers and news channels. I have also been told by the person that works in the office, that the owner has done this before to other people... This was verified by a person that knows the owner.
