New Deal Used Cars
Refused to make repaires to my new ca

On February I purchased a Toyota Celica from New Deal Used Cars. After a few weeks I had taken the car into the local Toyota dealership to have a diagnostic performed on the car to make sure there were no internal issues that needed to be addressed.
These are the results listed from the diagnostic test: Water pump, valve gasket cover, suspension leaking oil, CV boots, pinionETC!
After the test was complete Mike (Technician) with Toyota stated that the car had several issues with it and it would take a substantial amount of money to repair the car. Toyota recommended that I do not drive the car as it is very unstable.
I attempted to return the car to the dealership as soon as possible. I drove straight from 91st Ave & I-10 to 46th in Glendale. The car began to over heat about 59th Ave in Glendale Road, after we attempted to put water in the radiator and cool the car down we continue on to the dealership. While I was stranded on the street I had contacted the dealership via phone and explained the situation to them over the phone. They instructed me to bring the car in and they will help me from that point.
After the car was at the dealership that evening, Lil Mike with (New Deal Used Cars) sent the car to the maintenance dept in order to have another diagnostic performed the next day. I had provided them with a copy of the diagnostic I had received from the Toyota dealership.
The next day I contact the dealership for a status update on my car. At this time, the mechanic (Louise) explained to me the head gasket, radiator and water pump needed to be repaired and my portion of the costs of repairs will be $1300. I declined the services and picked my car up that evening.
During my whole investigation, I have acquired information that the car had not been emissions tested since Feb, 2nd of 09. If a proper emission test had been performed on the automobile most of the less majors issues could have been resolved before putting the car up for sale.
The engine light has been intentionally disconnected so no one would know that the car had so many problems with it.
Later I had a new radiator put in, the valve gasket cover replaced, new spark plugs and wires put in, the distributor cap put in. The mechanic I had work on the car did state that the water pump needs to be replaced with the timing belt and upper and lower barring but a new gasket head was not needed. Therefore, New Deal Used Cars misdiagnosed my car.
