I am 60 years old I went to clayton with a nice 2000 nissan xterra i had for two years, i have a picture of it the day i traded it, never had any problems out of my nissan just had 4 new tires put on it a month before i went to claytons used cars, the salesman jim miller told me he had put the 1999 ford f150 truck through the shop to make sure everything was just right on the truck before he could even put it on the lot for sale said he had to put new tires on them if needed, well i took his word to be honest, when i got the truck the next day i was taking my daughter and two grandkids to the doctor the back tire blew out i called jim miller he said bring it in tomorrow and i will put a new tire on it so i went he told me to take it to fisher tire on clinton hwy the man at fisher called jim and told him all 4 tires was dry rotted so jim told him to put 2 tires on the back, i got mad and called my husband he called jim and chewed him out and jim told fisher to put 4 tires on then the man at fisher told jim all the stuff that was worn out and needed to be fix, jim said no im just putting the tires on that his boss chewed his a* out for putting the tires on it the man told jim the brakes was worn down to the metel on all 4 wheels, the man told me to be careful the brakes was real bad, i have the papers the man at fisher gave me on what all needed to be done to the truck, well thats just half of it, i ask jim for a carfax he said we don't do that here, a car lot big as claytons can't give a carfax,
I had a friend get me a carfax on the truck and when he read it he said i would take that truck back to the lot and demand my car back so i called jim miller i was mad the truck had been wrecked front, back, and side, and the truck came from texas smelled like sewer everytime it sit in the sun on a hot day, that night it rained the back window poured water and the seat was soaked, i called jim miller back the next day and recorded what we said i told jim i wanted my nissan back that i did get a carfax on the truck and it was junk, he told me it was company policy that if i wanted my nissan back he would have to put the $8,000 i owed on the truck on my nissan plus the $800.
