Damages done to car and new windshield cracked after less than 2 months

The company caused $280 worth of damage to my car while replacing the windshield. That was my cost for the parts, doing the work myself. I had a quote from a dealership for $718 for the repairs. They also claimed that they would replace the side moldings, which they did not. (Beware: when the owner says that he will replace the moldings, he only means the top molding. The rest will not be replaced.) They tore up the original moldings and half snapped-half glued them back on. Less than 2 months later, one of them has flown off. The cowl was broken in half because the technician did not remove the center snap-plug before trying to take the cowl off. The store owner claimed that it was because the parts were old and brittle. Nope. When I replaced the cowl, the original snap-plug was still there, underneath where the put the cowl back on. They had never taken it off. It is like trying to rip off a wooden board while it is still screwed on. Of course it is going to break.

Less than two months after installing the windshield, it cracked. It was not due to a chip or a road impact; just a hairline stress crack down the middle of the windshield. Glass Doctor is acting like they will not warrant the repairs, even though I have a warranty that says they will. The owner told me when I bought the windshield that it has a 1-year warranty. Their website claims that they have a lifetime limited warranty, as well as a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They will not give me my money back. Yet, the Federal Trade Commission states: "... Regardless of the price of the product, advertising terms such as "satisfaction guaranteed" or "money back guarantee" should be used only if the advertiser is willing to provide full refunds to customers when, for any reason, they return the merchandise."

This is bull. The original windshield was 16 years old and wregardless of the price of the product, advertising terms such as "satisfaction guaranteed" or "money back guarantee" should be used only if the advertiser is willing to provide full refunds to customers when, for any reason, they return the merchandise. As not cracked... I replaced it because it was pitted from 224,835 miles of driving. The new windshield did not even make it 2 months and 4,000 miles. The company is not even registered with the Indiana Secretary of State. Avoid at all costs.?
