In 2006 my wife purchased a new 2006 IS from Newport lexus. The sales staff represented that the tires on the IS need to be replaced at 12 to 15K. They sold here a Tires for Life policy at a extra cost of $2000.00. Newport Lexus lead her to belive that replacement for all tires was at no cost to her for as long as she owned the car all that was required is that she maintain the car. Not at 15,000 but at 47,400 miles the IS needs new tires. Newport Lexus now tells as that since we did not have the IS serviced by Newport Lexus the tires for life policy is void. I now find out that the founder of the Tires for Life policy has a criminal record and the managment of Newport Lexus refuses to refund the money or replace the tires. Iwould not recommend Newpot Lexus or Tusin Lexus (same owners) to anyone interested in a new or pre-owned Lexus.
