I have had many problems with Wilson Automotive. Very friendly and personable at first, but dont be fooled. The work has been late, substandard, unprofessional and warranty has not been honored. I contacted Les Wilson on the 8th of March and told him there was worked that need to be done by March 27th and he said he could do the work by that time but not to bring the car into the shop until March 22nd because his painter was taking holidays. I brought the car to Wilson Automotive on Friday 19th and told them I needed the car finished (warranty work on a bad paint job and other items) by the following Saturday and they agreed.
Since then they have refused to warranty a carburetor they rebuilt two times. They put a new air conditioner in the car and it has never cooled the car. They have not connected linkage to the transmission that controls the neutral start and the kick down on the carburetor. The rear end they put in the car has never fit the car properly since they put it. Additionally I was informed that on Thursday they had not started on any of the work and refused to make alternate arrangements to fix their warranty problems.
Another Dallas charlatan do not trust their word, work or warranty!
