I brought my '99 Chrysler Sebring in to their free clinic on 23 August and was advised that I had a leaking core plug and was quoted a repair price of $190.95. This figure came from their mechanics and written by one of their service writers Ben Levine. I was advised that there would be a 15% discount because I had come through the clinic.

I scheduled the work for Saturday, 13 September along with a complete detail. I called on Friday, 12 September to confirm my appointment the service I was to receive and the quoted price of that service and was advised that it was a go.

I left the car with whomever you had on duty Saturday morning, as Mr. Levine was not scheduled to be in. About an hour later, I received a phone call from Tim Smith to advise me that the service would be about $500.00, and not the $190.00 I was quoted. He stated that he could (would) not explain why there was such a discrepancy. I asked to speak to the Director, Bob Springer and was advised that he was not available. I then asked to speak to the Service Director, Dave LeSafre and received a who cares type response.

I cancelled all scheduled work and picked up the vehicle.
