I had my van brought into the dealer for a knocking sound and no heat, they said it was engine, it needed a new one, I have a warrentee, they rented me a car from a car rental agency, on Dec 23rd 1999, they had my van for 42 days, not done until Feb 2.
I was charged 1200$ or more for the rental car, they paid a small portion, 450$ and I was stuck with the rest, over 700$, I want my money back, I feel they took advantage of me as I am a disabled widow and on a low income, every time I called to see if van was ready they said they would pay the rental, and when the van was ready, they told me if i didn't get it that day they would start charging me storage, I think I should charge them storage for the days I had no van and it just sat in their place,
I have filed a complaint wihth DMV, and I will take it to small claims but now i don't have money to live on, and it costs money to file.
