On Monday night I went through a lot of trouble ordering from FTD. I hadn't been able to access the bank, so in a sheer act of desperation I bought an American Express Gift Card and paid nearly $105 for a $100 gift card so that I would be able to purchases flowers online for my mother's birthday (she was out of state) I placed my order on Monday night, and received a call after I got off work on Tuesday (my mother's birthday) It seems that my flowers were delivered to THE WRONG ADDRESS. Thinking maybe they messed up the numbers, I called back the family who were kind enough to call me of FTD's error. Turns out they were off by about 3.5 miles! (Does 3417 Stoneriver Ct and 3405 Stonecrest Ct sound similar to you?) Upset, I called FTD only to wait a grueling 15 minute wait (when the message clearly said it was only a 5 minute wait) Only to be asked if I was SURE that they were sent to the wrong address. To make things worse the customer service lady told me that the florist near my mother's residence was CLOSED and that she was TERRIBLY SORRY for the error. She said the florist would MAYBE call me tomorrow to work out the details. Thanks, FTD! All I wanted was to send nice ($65!) flowers to my mother for her birthday since it was the first time we were apart, and they screw it up. Badly. (Heck, even the customer service lady admitted that "they really messed up big time" well no s*, Sherlock!) It's Tuesday night, and I'll be waiting for that call tomorrow, FTD.
