Bev Smith's Multi-level Deception Game

Where do I begin... I bought a new Scion XD from Bev Smith in 2008. There were 4 levels of deception. 1) The sales manager coerced me into buying an extended warrany. After I said "no" 3 times, he sweetened the deal. He offered a 100K mile unlimited warranty for "only" 15 dollars per month. After I got home, the fine print said that it was for a term of 5 years, hence not unlimited. Also, the factory powertrain warranty ran for 5 years. So in effect, I bought duplicate coverage. I went back the next day and canceled the policy. It took Bev Smith 2 months and several calls and visits to process and mail the refund check ($1200). 2) Buy this car and get "free tires and batteries for life!" Not true.in order to receive benefits, one must follow Bev Smith's maintenance program, which is double Toyota's maintenance schedule. Whoever heard of an annual front end alignment? 3) This car comes with Scion floor mats! They failed to inform me that the floor mats cost an extra $200. I would have refused them and bought a $25 set from the auto parts store. 4) The sticker price of the car miraculously rose by $200 on the purchase agreement. I noticed this 18 months down the road, went in and got a check for the $200 within 10 minutes for the "typo." Do you suppose this has happended before? Hum... You are your only advocate! Take notes and a calculator. Do not trust them to be honest.
