I bought a long guarantee for my 2005 Yukon XL in 2005 after I bought my vehicle. A week ago my vehicle began creating a noise-so I got it in to the seller. They stated it seemed as an engine issue, therefore will-call the guarantee organization to obtain agreement. You may think my surprise once they named me back again to inform me the insurance wouldn't protect since I'd altered the motor. Complete surprise whilst the only point I did so was alter the air-filter to some E & D filter which is really a greater filter compared to inventory one it includes. They stated that easily had a cheap inventory one onto it they'd have approved the fix. I told them that I had been recommended from the seller to obtain that filter. They stated it wasn't their issue plus they wouldn't approve the fix. I told them the air-filter didn't have something related to the motor issue plus they stated "NO". This isn't the very first time they've rejected a fix with this particular vehicle.in 2007 I'd to truly have the transmission changed, as well as their reason behind rejection was that I stood up in flooding water and got water within the indication. Never occurred!!! The corporation is just a complete RIP-OFF!!! They simply con people out-of their cash. Don't use continental guarantee!!!
