Grand Prix Chrysler Jeep
This is one customer that will never buy a car from Grand Prix Chrysler Jeep again!

I am going to try and make a long story short. I recently bought a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Grand Prix Chrysler Jeep in Hicksville, NY. The MSRP of the car was for $35,345. I was able to negotiate the deal for a price of $33,500. With the taxes and fees, minus the rebates and down payment, the final price of the car was $25,359.38.

In order to receive the rebates you had to finance the car with one of the lenders that the dealer provided. The rate was for 6.24% at 59 months with a one time payment of $4725 due at the 60th month.

On August 25th I go in to meet with Frank, the so called finance manager. Frank brings me out the loan agreement and says everything is great. We are having a little chit chat, you know how these things go. Anyway, I sign the paperwork and drive the car off of the lot.

I always had in the back of my mind that something was funny but I said it must be my imagination. What could go wrong, I negotiated the price of the car. Anyway I decided to double check the loan agreement. What a bunch of crooks!!! They financed me for a purchase price of $25,754. That is $395.00 over what the purchase agreement states. On top of it the dealer and the lender (Teachers Federal Credit Union) must be working together. For the life of the loan, I am being charged a finance of $4915.40 when the finance charge should be about $4100. What a disgrace. I asked multiple times, are there any fees associated with taking out this loan. I am sure you know what I was told. Of course not!!!

I went into the dealership to talk with these lowlifes (finance department and salesmen) and I was told every lie in the book. I researched my numbers several times, the numbers did not add up on the loan agreement. I am sure what some of you are going to say, why did you sign the loan agreement. At the signing I did not have access to a financial calculator and I asked if everything was ok and I was assured that everything was.

Anyway, I cannot tell you the amount of lies that were told to me and how may times I was told that I am wrong. If I make a mistake, I am willing to admit it. With this situation, I know I am right.

The dealership called to credit me the $395.00 but I said that it was not good enough. I wanted my finance fees adjusted. They continued to tell me that they are not receiving a kickback. I continued to call them several times and I even told them I was getting a lawyer and calling the BBB and Department of Consumer affairs.

Today, I called and said that I wanted the money ($395) and the GM said no because I was a pain to everyone in the dealership. You know what, I am glad that I was. I feel really sorry for the people that get screwed by these crooks. This is not so much about the money than the principle. This is the third jeep that I have owned. I will never by a Jeep again and never do business with Grand Prix Chrysler Jeep of Hicksville.
