My purchase was a 2002 Avalanche with 26,000 miles. I purchased on Ebay from their auction. I had the sales manager walk around the truck and physically look at the truck while I was on the phone. When I received the truck there was obvious damage to the center bed cover with deep gouges across 50% of the panel. The next I noticed driving the truck the steering wheel was not dead center but at a 45 degree angle to the right. The next item was the air conditioning was making noise in the engine bay area. The auction stated it need charging. I took to two repair shops to have it diagnosed. Both reports where alike with the system was overcharged to compensate with a weak compressor showing metal shavings in the inline filter called an orafis. Someone had intentially over filled the system. Gee I wonder who that was??? The next I noticed the transmission with shifting with a clunk noise. I have not adressed this yet with a limited schedule. The auction description was written of the truck in near new condition with no mechanical or cosmetic issues.
I have filed a small claims action to recover my current expenses and future expenses on the transmission.
This company is focused at making a profit/commission regardless of the outcome. What a great long term business plan.
