CitiFinancial - Citibank-Citigroup
Citibank Purchased a vehicle from Auffenberg dealership. Citifinancial financed it for $5,000. Over blue book. I tried to trade it in for a more reliable car at same dealership was told I owe $5,000. Ove

About a year and a half ago I purchased a 2001 Chevy S10 from auffenberg auto dealership for my daughter.

I was told it was a very reliable vehicle but have had to put lots of money into it.

After doing repairs I recently took the vehicle back to the same dealership where I originally purchased it and was told "you owe $5,000.00 over blue book for your vehicle and unless you can come up with that amount Auffenberg will not be able to do the trade.

I then stated to the auffenberg salesman "so what you are telling me is that your dealership sold me a vehicle for $5,000. Over the blue book value and that citifinancial was ok with financing for that much over blue book.

The salesman stated "yes".

If anyone knows of any recourse for this please let me know.

My college student daughter is now stuck with an unreliable vehicle because I was ripped off by both Auffenberg dealership and citifinancial bank.
