Dick Hanna Auto Dealerships Looking For other Consumers Who Have Been Riped Off To File Law Suit

I have been scamed by Dick Says Yes Dealership, I called the dealership about trading in a vehicle I had for a new one, About 10 minutes after calling a female representitive called me and asked a few questions, I had a couple of tax leins and so I was worried about financing, I had good credit other than the leins, I had another dealership who had approved me on a Brand new vehicle but the payment was around 500.00 per month not that I could not afford it but I did not want a payment that high. The person who called back said that they were going to pull my credit and she put me on hold, about 2 or 3 minutes later she came back on the line and said that I was approved and that she was setting an appointment with thier credit specialist, the next day, I went to the dealership and the credit specialist was a brand new saleman who did not even have his business cards yet. He tried to show me some vehicles I did not like, so then he brought in another higher up sales person who said that he was going to see what they could give me for my trade in, it was a 2003 Lincoln Navigator

I had bought a few months earlier for 18k it was a very nice vehicle but gas prices jumped about. 50 cent a gallon and my drive to work had ust increased by about double so I was looking for something that got better mileage, After about 10 minutes salesman #2 came back and says that they can only give me 12k for the car because gas prices had taken the market out for these kinds of vehicles. I said no way and was going to leave, he then says well maybe he can go to 14k and that I would be about 4k upside down but that he could roll that into a vehicle that they had just recieved and were in it well enough that they could eat the 4k, he then takes me to a computer and show me Blue book on my vehicle which says 12k to 20k resale value and that they would need to have to be able to hide some of the loss in the resale of it what ever that means, And that I should get in the car with him and go look at the car that they can get me into, So we go to another dealership and they show me a very nice Subaru and he says drive back to the his dealership and lets look at numbers, I tell him I do not want to go over $500 per month and that I have another dealership that has a brand new vehicle for me at that payment he asks what kind of car it is and then tells me how bad they are and that they have no resale value and I will be in bad shape and will be upside down 12k to 15k within a year,

But that the veicle he has his lender knows how well they hold their value and that in a year I would be in a positive position, so I take the car and go back to the dealership keep in mind that it is a very nice car and but it is a 2006 and this is when we get back he takes me to the same computer that he used to show me my trade in value and shows me the blue book on his vehicle which says 39k which happens to be what he is asking for it. So I ask what the payment is going to be he says something like $850 per month, I freak out and say no way, he says but in a year you will have some equity in the the rig instead of being upside down, I still say no way so he gets some other guy to come out and he says he will see what he can do, about ten minutes later #3 comes out and says $750 I still say no way and that I am going to the other dealership and then he says that his lender will maybe do a little better, He comes back and says his lender will only finance this car because of the equity that it will have in it, they keep pushing the equity thing at me and that I will not be in the position I just came out of, I still say no so he says how about $700 per month and then he says come back in a year when the leins come off my credit and trade it in on something with less monthly payment and with the equity that I will have it will be no problem, So here we are 7 months later and I have a $700 per month payment and I just found out that the vehicle is worth about 23k and it is in perfect shape and I am upside down 15k and in worse shape than I was to begin with.

I am not mad about the payment but the being upside down and in worse shape has me furious, I took their word for the value of the vehicle and comes to find out they looked through all the inventory and found one rig the lender would by off on so they ripped them off kind of like me, I wold love to hear from anyone who would be interested in filling a class action lawsuit of some kind.
