July 9 I placed an order for a pair of front coil spring spacers from 4 Wheel Supply, Inc. I promptly received an email receipt with my order number. My electronic bank statement showed 'Home on the Web, Inc', the so-called parent company, charged my account on July 13. So far everything seemed alright.
After four weeks, I emailed 4 Wheel Supply, Inc. To find out what's happened to my order. No response. I called their non-toll-free phone number. No answer. No replies from my voice mail messages.
Today I looked up their address on MapQuest. It doesn't exist. I then called Salt Lake City information and asked for a 4x4 truck supply company. They were nice enough to look in their local phone book for any 4x4 supply company by name, address and phone number. They were the ones that told me about the 'complaint' website.
I know I have lost my money. Do not throw away your money; do not buy anything from this rip-off company.
I have learned from this experience; whenever you buy online from a new company, you should check the 'complaint' website to see if there are any complaints against them.
