This morning @ 0930 8/24/09 I went to purchase my son's nike tennis shoes @ the matthews location (704-841-3959). I waited for 15minutes for an associate then ask a guy pumping up a bicycle tire for assistance. He called over head for assistance. No one came. As I waited 2 other men waited but then left to go elsewhere to purchase shoes. Finally @ 0955 the only associate helping a mother fit 3 kids came and gave me a pair of shoes then left. I finally was able to get the display shoe with a purchase price of $69.98 and spent a total of $80.40. I ask to speak to the manager to let them know my concerns. Alberto the manager was so insistant on me telling him my concerns in front of 3 other customers behind me in line and then acted like it was my fault that I didn't call for assistance. The cashier Rachel spoke up and said that she heard it paged over head. He then walked away. If this is the kind of service that Dick's is now providing to customers I want no part of this and will take my business elsewhere.
