When I walk in I am never greeted, this particular time the associate walked right past me and said nothing. I waited at the counter with a shoe while one other associate was on the computer ignoring me. Eventually the original girl walked back to me and said 'do you need a size' no hello no nothing. Gave me my size, then didn't come back to ask if i liked them or anything just waited behind the counter and when i came up she said 'your gonna go with them?'. I said yes and began to explain an exchange I was also looking to do that day.
There is supposed to be a 3 month warranty on the shoes and after one wear the insole of the shoe started coming out. They refused to do the return because the shoes were worn. But I couldn't exactly run home the night I wore them out to change them when i noticed they started doing that. Even still if the shoes hadn't been worn what was she going to do? Glue them and sell them to some other customer? Beware that could end up being you.
After placing a complaint with their head office the DM called and offered me new insoles that I can place in the shoe but would not exchange the shoe itself. I have now been told by 2 employees and the DM that all ALDO shoes have insoles that come out very easily even with one wear. To me that screams cheaply made. For the prices they charge, definitely would expect the insole to last longer than one night. I've bought 20$ Sirens heels that have held up better than that. Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere now due to bad customer service and cheap quality product.
