I took my Lexus in for an oil change, and Harris Tire & Auto Services told me that I was leaking steering fluid. They told me it would cost close to $1000 to repair.
I took the car for a second opinion, and the repairman told me that the leak was minimal. He told me that it did not need repaired and that his own automobile leaks more steering fluid! Keep in mind that he is a MECHANIC and would only have to pay for parts to repair his own car.
I have had subsequent checks at the Lexus dealership, and they have not even mentioned any steering fluid leak.
My sister was visiting me in Indianapolis. She hit a tire in the middle of the road and blew a tire. I called Harris Tire and Auto to request a tow. They told me they would send someone out. They NEVER sent anyone. Luckily, a good summaritan came by and put on a spare.
I really would steer clear of this place.
