I found another report on this site (#460280) of a scam just like mine except the motorcycle and names had been changed. There are two other reports but I dont know the report# on the other but it was for a Harley.
From what I can see all three on here where found on craigslist. They are advertisement for a motorcycle extremely cheap (too good to be true). The seller claiming to be selling it after her devorce was final. I would like to hear from The others who were scammed. I was able to track down where this person picked up the moneygram I sent (i know, not a good idea) down to the town, state and time it was picked up. I have made reports to the FBI Internet Crime Investigation and local police where I live.
If you would like to see this person caught help me out so I can give all the information possible to the authorities.
If you sent a moneygram they have to pick it up with a picture ID, and some places make them use the code # given when you purchase the moneygram.
Other than the three reports on this site, I have found a total of five but cant ever contact any of the victims.
Being a victim myself I know you may not want to contact anyone like this, but I lost 2900$ on this deal and I would like to see someone get what they have coming to them.
This oerson even went as far as contacting me 9 days after they had already collected the money claiming I sent a fake payment. They didnt stop until I told them I found one of there other scams and called them by the name on the new scam.
I was also able to get the police in my home town check out the VIN# I was sent and it did come up a valid # to the Goldwing at a dealership in Baton Rouge, LA. (sorry if its misspelled). This person needs to be caught.
