Here is the deal, these clowns called me on my cell phone the other day. Since they had repeatedly called, I decided to listen just to hear what their scam of the week was. It was the same song and dance. "What if this, or that" who will come and get you when your vehicle breaks down. Notice I said vehicle, because they didn't have a clue what I was driving until I told them. Ok, so here it comes... Of course a quote on an overpriced warranty. HOW MUCH?!! They could only sell me a powertrain warranty (engine and transmission coverage) at $2200. That was more than what the dealership was selling their bumper to bumper warranty for. The fact of the matter was they began to drop their prices once I told them that it was overpriced. They offered me this and that discount but I still wanted to think about. They told me that this price was only good, right here and now.in other words, I couldn't think about it or even compare with other companies. Who does business that way? Other reputable companies including the dealership are willing to let you think about it. Again, if it sounds like a scam, looks like a scam, smells like a scam. What do you really think it is?
Everyone should be writing to their lawmakers to stop these con-men from conducting their scam!!!
