Dont' get taken in by the people who want to sell you this spray that is "SUPPOSE" to make your license plate unreadable to the red light traffice cameras. It's total BS, you pay $39.95 for a VERY small can (they don't put anything next to it to show the scale of the product) of clear spray lacquer you could buy in a hardware store for $5.95 and get twice the size can of paint. First of all if it's daytime the ambient light will overpower the flash and you can still see the plate number, second... The camera is mounted way above the ground shooting down on your car and the flash is reflected AWAY from the camera anyway so it doesn't reflect back into the camera.in the example photos on the web site they have the camera positioned right in front of the plate so naturally it's gonna reflect back into the camera causing a flash. I tried to MAKE is flash back in to my camera with a VERY powerful professional light strobe I use for pro photography for wedding etc, and it still was perfectlly readable. The got a great premise, they say you can't test it out on your own because YOUR flash is not as powerful as the one on the traffic camera, so who's gonna go through a red light to see if it works... So you can't disprove it. Anyway, it's not guaranteed to prevent a ticket so when you do get busted... Tough.
Someone has come up with the ultimate rip-off here, all they do is take a small can of clear spray paint, put a new label on it and sell it for 4 times as much. Don't buy into it!
