Speaking with Jeremey Boddy Peterborough, Ontario www.drifttuners.com (owner of Drifttuners) on the phone and through E-mails he told me he could import a car from Japan for me. After sending him over $13,000CDN he paid a dealership in Japan half of my money and took off with the rest of it. He has since disconnected his phone and is no longer available to get in touch with. This has been over a month ago and I have had no word from him. I have a car now that he paid only half for that is being shipped from Japan and now I am stuck paying for the car AGAIN and importing the car myself with no other choice.
I have filed complaints with the BBB Ottawa, Phonebusters and numerous other agencies to try and get some type of end to this situation.
I would like for any others out there that have delt with this individule and have had the same thing happen to them to contact me so we can get some criminal charges laid against this scammer. He has stolen my money and is no where to be found. He is also using a site called www.usedjdmimports.com 1-888-580-8593 ext 538.
He claims to be able to import Nissan Skylines into the US and Canada. He also says that he is affiliated with a company called JK industries in the states who are a legit import buisness and has a contact with a woman named Lois who I have contacted and am now working with to bring this fraud down. JK industries has no affiliation with this guy no have they heard of Jeremy Boddy or www.Drifttuners.com
This has put major stress on my family and now I am out over $8000 with no where to turn.
He is a crook and should be caught and pay for what he is doing to people and the legit auto impoters out there. Ripping people off of their hard earned money.
