I bought a GT-R in Japan at an auction last year. I dealt with Japan Auto Direct, and I would advise caution regarding this company. I used them as my auction agent, to bid on a vehicle which I subsequently won. However, when I asked them for a financial statement confirming (a) the floor price paid at auction and (b) their commission charges, they ducked and dived. Despite repeated written and telephone communication both to the salesman and then to the owner of the company, they never supplied me with proper paperwork. Consequenty I have no idea whether the price I paid was the auction price, or whether they ripped me off completely. This has left an unpleasant taste in my mouth, as well as a bad opinion of this company.
Furthermore, while awaiting shipping, my car was damaged in their storage yard. Of course they didn't tell me about that either.
I for one would not deal with them again.
