Had my car towed to Aldo's uncles house he did not have his shop in Brick NJ yet. He agreed to rebuild my motor for a certain price. Well 2 months went by and car was not finished. Finally motor was done ran pretty good but had a funy sqeak but he said my transmission was shot! The trans was fine before it went to him and the Trans was a rare 62-65 727 torgue flight mopar. I told him to have the car towed to Cottman transmission in Pt Pleasant. They rebuilt the trans. When I got the car home I noticed the origanal speedo cable was not hooked up went back to cottman and they said thats the way it came in. The connector on the new trans is threaded but on the rare 62-65 big block trans its a barrel type plug in. I believe that scum bag switched out my trans and gave me a later model 727 trans that was beat. That set me back over a grand and the car has not been the same without that original trans. I brought this up with Aldo and he became very defensive and denying just like a guilty person would have I should have sued his ass and may still.
After it got back to him I thought he was a thief he became very irrate infront of my 3 year old son I wish my son was not with me that day. Good thing for Al he was! He has a horrible reputation in town I guess thats why he left.
