The wife and I were going to purchase a pop-up trailer at a show held in our local mall. To make a long story short we found a trailer on a saturday put a $50 deposit to hold it, went back on a sunday to show it off and found a better one.
The salesman agreed the second trailer was better so I told him if he could put me in that trailer for $60 a month for 8 years I would take it (previously I had informed this "salesman" of our limitations and if it wasn't within we couldn't do it) so he shook my hand and said "Lets do it".
On that Sunday I was promised an answer for financing by Monday or later that night. Well needless to say it wasn't till that Thursday that they came back with $20 more a month than I could do and by that time the 1st trailer had been sold (the one i could have afforded).
After some haggling and brief talks I decided to not get a trailer and requested the $50 deposit back that I was promised that I would get back if anything fell through. Well it more than fell through it crashed through. Still 3 months later i have not recvd my money.
My wife recvd an e-mail that only after they have exausted all options on getting me into one of there trailers would they consider refunding my money. It is pretty low to think that after all the false promises, lies, and mistakes made by this company that I would even consider buying something from them. They are the primo, top of the line typical sales a*holes that screw you over every time. My wife and I plan on having her boss represent us (she works for an attorney) so we can get our money back.
