I also purchased a car from cal cars and was treated great until i signed along the dotted line. I never recieved all of the paper work i needed and when I took the car to have an e-check done it failed due to missing an exhaust pipe. I called the company and was informed that I supposably signed a paper stating that all repairs were up to me now. I didnt have a copy. I also didnt receive my memorandum title until 3 months after I got the car. So after 3 temp titles and many trips and phone calls I finally had the exhaust fixed by a friend of mine. Cal cars never paid a dime to have this fixed and never even tried to make amends.
While this was going on the gentleman, and i say this loosely, talked down to me and i can only come to the assumption that it was because I was a woman because, even though they were not allowed to disclose any information to someone who wasnt on my account, they spoke to a male friend of mine and were very nice and even offered to help him with my car. It just amazed me how inconsiderate and rude these people were.
