"LIM'S Honda Acura in Rancho Cucamonga" TRIED TO RIP ME OFF FOR $650! I took in my '98 Toyota 4runner to have them check out a clicking/knocking sound coming from the wheel well. They charged me $35 or $40 bucks just for a diagnosis that turned out to be completely FALSE! They said it was my rack and pinion and that they would give me a great "discount" on a refurbished part for $650 installed.
I went to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion (who charged me $0 by the way) and they said my rack and pinion was definitely not the cause of the problem and it was totally fine. My friend and I (neither of us are mechanics) started looking under the truck and found a loose bolt. Turns out that fixed it! $650 right? I went back to Lim's and asked for my "diagnostic" money which he gave me the run around about and never refunded me. If you're looking for an honest mechanic DON'T GO TO LIM'S!!!
