Frequently the number 757-990-8981 shows up on my caller ID on my cell phone. Even though I have been telling them since last October to stop calling me and to take me off of their list, they keep calling! They often don't even let finish telling them to take me off of their phone list before they hang up on me. But the last call is when I had enough of their bull.
Last week I received a call that showed up as "RESTRICTED" on the ID. Curious as to who it was I foolishly answered only to get the same fricken messege about my "Auto Warrenty was about to expire..." I rummaged around my tool chest as I waited again for the operator to ask "vehicle make and model" only this time I wasn't going to be nice and polite. And when they picked up I blew an air horn into my phone.
I know that the worker is just doing his job, but when their company is breaking the law I have no sympathy for a blown out eardrum. I put the phone up to my ear and heard a guy cussing and I told him to stop calling, as if he could have heard my voice after that. I hope they use that tape to prepare some of their new workers for the type of abuse they should expect.
I have since set my phone to not allow "unknown" or "restricted" calls to connect.
