Pontiacengines.net, Merrick Motors, Greg Merrick
Sold me 455 Pontaic rods, magnifluxed they are cracked, refuse refund, told me it is my problem

I sent Greg Merrick of Merrick Motors and pontiacengines.net $350 for a set of used high performance Pontiac 455 connecting rods. I called him to buy a set of new "Cat" rods that he had listed on his website but he assured me that these were the best rods for the money. He told me that he had personally worked them in his machine shop and that they were prefect. I gave him my UPS account number and had him bill the shipping to me.

I received the rods and took them to my machine shop and had them magnifluxed. They are cracked. JUNK! Unusable. I called Greg and he called the owner of the machine shop a liar, me a liar, cursed his head off and hung up the phone. The machine shop owner is very reputable and builds race car motors for 25K on a regular basis. Its guys like Greg that ruin it for all the honest sellers on the internet. I have to now repurchase rods and I sure won't do it on the internet.
