Dan Nelson claims to help people with no credit. The salesman empathasized how important building your credit, and having you come back as a repeat customer.
They claim to help out anyone with no credit or bad credit. So I went in there, because I have no credit. At first I filled out some paperwork about my job, and how much I get paid. The dealer said since I have no credit they were going to put me on their special plan. He said I could get a car just not the one I might want. I had a bad feeling at that moment.
This plan is where they get you a car, and in a year you bring it back. When you bring it back you get a new car. What ever is left on the car is paid off. Sounds good, right?
They took me outside, and showed me my options. I got to choose from an old nissan, geo prizm, corsica, and pontiac sunbird. The sunbird was the only one I wanted to drive. So I took it for a drive. The car was loud, and it pulled to the left.
When we got back inside they told me what the "bank" wanted for a down payment, and what my terms would be. This was a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird with over 150000 miles on it. They wanted 1200 down, and 300 dollars a month for 18 months. I couldn't believe they wanted that much for that car.
