I purchased a 2005 Pontiac Gran Prix on 1/31 from Credit Connection in Midwest City Ok.
I had the vehicle two days and already it began having problems. I called the dealer and informed them of the problem. They told me to put Lucas treatment in the car. I did so and the issue persisted.
I then took the car into the dealer. They kept the car and supposedly fixed it. I told the dealer that I had no other car and was in my first 90 days at work. The dealer told me that they would fix the car and not to worry.
I ended up missing work and being put on corrective action. When the car was returned, it was not fixed. I called and informed the dealer that the car was worse off then when I took it in. The dealer told me that they would fix the car and not to worry.
Once again i received the car. Unfixed. There was a dent in the car, the seats were lined with grease, and there was no gas in the car. I called the dealer and told them that I was tired of the problem and they told me not to worry they would fix the car.
So once again I took in the car... The car came back unfixed and having the same issue and more problems and no gas once again. I then called the dealer and told them thatI'd had enough and that they needed to give me a car that worked and that I did not have the money to keep trying to borrow other people's cars and putting gas in them and putting gas in my car when it was returned to me empty.
They told me not to worry that they'd take it to the dealership and if they kept the car longer than the weekend they'd give me another car to drive by having me sign a test drive paperwork since they did not give loaners. I agreed and let them have the car.
I informed them at that time that I had not received a title and needed to get tags because I had been pulled over at a road block and almost fined for the tags. The dealer then told me that I could have told the officer to call him and he would have told the officer that they were waiting for the title. I told him I needed the title.
I had called in previously and told them that I neede the title after visiting Express Auto Tags to get my tags. The lady told me ther was nothing she could do but tell me the price and a guestimate on the penalties for not having it within the first thirty days.
I called the dealer and told them that I needed the tags and they told me that they still had to put the lean on the car and that they would call me within 3-5 days to come and get that's been over two weeks.
I went into the dealership today 3/31/09 to get my money refunded for the down and the payments made and the guys told me that the car had not left me stranded yet and I should be happy. I told him that I had two kids and could not afford to be stranded and didn't want to wait for the car to do so.
He told me the car was a used car and that I should be happy it ran. I told him once again that I hadn't even received the title to which he wouldn't reply. He told me and my father that the last time it was in that he indeed hadn't taken the car to the dealership as promised to be fixed but that he would do it this time.
I told him I don't have another car as I told you before and I don't have the time or money for you to TRY and fix it just to be returned unfixed once again. I told him that there was a lemon law gave him the paperwork on the lemon law and informed him I'd be in contact with a lawyer. All I want is my money back so that I may have a reliable car to get to and from work to support my family.
