Poor customer service - Brake Repai

09/07
On 04/01 I had my auto serviced at your Raleigh NC location, 4618 Atlantic Ave. The repair order# 1313877. When I picked up my truck and after the technician test drove it, he return to make a minor adjustment to the brakes with a pair on needle nose pliers. The brakes were squeaking a metallic sound.

I drove the truck several days thinking the sound would go away. It never did go away. Upon taking the truck to my usual AAA service location in Durham at Hwy 54/55, I was told the metal brake indicator was rubbing and it had been adjusted. Well I could see how that could happen and since the technician at that location (hwy 55/54) never removed the wheel lock key from my glove compartment, it appeared there was no need to remove my wheels. No paperwork changed hands with this visit.

Understand, This is not a truck I drive every day. After a couple of more drives the noise had returned. A couple of weeks later I noticed I needed an inspection and since I work in Raleigh this would be the time to have this terrible noise checked again. I took the truck to Atlantic Ave again for an inspection and to have the noise checked again. This is now 06/26 repair order# 1315932. Before leaving I explained to the clerk that I had changed my own brakes for 30 years and these pads needed to be replaced. He agreed they may have to get Ford pads if the problem continued.

Upon my return to pickup the truck the clerk explained the technician had sprayed brake quit on the pads and this should eliminate the problem. I did not agree and ask the clerk to ride with me for a test drive. The noise was quieter but we both still heard it. I agreed to take the truck back again hoping the noise would not return. —
Sure enough after a couple of more drives the awful noise returned. I am not happy. I return the truck to AAA Atlantic Ave location on 07/14 repair order# 1316195 and again explain, I want the pads replaced. The noise is still there. I went back to the location to check before lunch since no one had called. Someone explained the Manager was going to handle my truck, Brian Rocheleau. When I had not heard anything by lunch I went by and spoke with Brian and explained, I had a second job and must have my truck by 3:00 pm. —
As you might guess this is where thing got ugly. Brian did not want to hear me at all. He tried to speak over me time and time again. Now the lady clerk is giving me nasty looks as if I am a problem. No one was raising their voices and no one used any profanity. Brian said I would have my truck in plenty of time and I returned to work.—
3:00pm, No truck. I had a co worker drop me off so I could wait. As I am waiting another technician comes in commenting the new guy how he left the plug of some-ones auto and fluid was everywhere in the under carriage. He fixed it but they did not cover the carwash. 3:30pm Brian returns from the test drive and says, Where is he? Here you go. And hands me the keys.—

Well! When I got in the truck it was if Brian had just farted in it. It was awful. He had just farted in my truck and I knew because I have been around for 53 years. This scum. I returned to the front of the store and Brain met me. I told Brian his customer service was terrible. We exchanged comments and I left unhappy at how I had been treated by this person Brian, and glared at the lady behind the counter. I told Brian I would just contact AAA.—
The next day I drove the truck the check engine light came on. And I notice the button for my alarm system is missing. It was there when I dropped the truck off because I had to turn the alarm off. Now I have been insulted, over charged for brakes (I was never given a refund in the difference in the price of the pads), and my truck was sabotaged by a manager who farted in my truck to show me he was a buzzard.—
I am taking my truck to AAA Hwy 55/54 tomorrow to see about this check engine light. Please fire Brian. All this years we have trusted AAA. Look how long we have been members. Look at the work history you have on our autos. This guy has terrible customer service skills and is teaching this to your staff.
