Liers, Deceitful, Lazy, Rude, rip off Crooks. A long story but worth reading if you think about buying from this company!

When I began searching for a vehicle, I decided to look at a couple of dealerships. I ended up at RK after a long search. What I found was what I thought was a nice, respectable sales staff.

They played in to the whole "I am an honest salesman" act. May I inform you that this transaction took place on December 31st of 2002. We purchased the Jeep that evening, and were told that the Jeep would need to be inspected the very next day.

We we fine with that. Even though we were a little surprised that the staff would be there for inspections on New Years Day. We were happy that they would be there for the inspection, because we also needed a small part of the side molding to be fixed.

The manager even told us that the shop would be open for service the next day. Then we find out that they're not open. So, we had to go out of our day, while at work to set up the inspection and the repair of the molding. They wanted us to take off of work and so forth for this.
We said that they needed to bring me a rental/replacement car during the inspection.

Well, we got the Jeep inspected. Because we are always working, we told them that because of the inconvenience to bring us the Jeep back to our house and then he could pick up the rental from there.

We were promised that the Jeep was inspected thoroughly, all the fluids had been changed and topped off and that the molding was completely fixed. Even transfered the tags on there for us.

Because the Jeep was brought to us in the evening, it was dark out. Therefore we could not see the fluids properly or the molding on the Jeep.

I walk outside the next morning and the molding is hanging half way off of the Jeep! After I was told to my face that it was complately repaired! Then we take a look at the fluids and we were shocked! The fluids were so low! No one even took the time to check the fluids in a routine inspection!

So, we call back up to RK yet again. Of course getting the run around. Again, we talk to the manager. He says that we need to bring the Jeep back up there for the molding to be fixed. Then to also provide the receipts for the fluids purchase.

I told the salesman that this was ridiculous that I was lied to about the molding. That I did not feel as though I needed to take time from my work day to take the Jeep back up there to get repaired. And I spoke to the manager and he said that he'd refund us for the monies spent on the fluids.

We get our Jeep back. The molding looks good. Come to find out after talking with the salesman, he stumbled on his lies a few times and my suspicions were verified: they stuck regular old black tape under the molding calling that a "repair".

As time goes by I am now wondering why I have not been contacted about my husbands pay off on his trade in.By this point about a month or more has gone by.
I have become very untrusting of RK so at this point I have been going behind them on every step that they take with my whole purchase.

So I call the bank. They had received the pay off in full and the money that was given to them was more then enough. So RK was holding my money!

I called RK and threw a fit. Basically what was happening was they were trying to keep my several hundred dollars and not tell me.

By the way, we have yet to get the refunds for the fluids still. Remember we're already over a month in to this.
Time goes by, more phone calls made in regards to the pay off.

O.K. We've finally got the pay off money weeks later. Still no refund on the fluids.

We have now passed by all the problems with RK... So we think. Now it's April. May I remind you that this whole vehicle purchase was on December 31. I was at the park, taking my dogs out to play.

A police officer pulls me over. He informs me that he could give me 2 tickets. One for ficticious plates. The second one for a stolen vehicle! He asks me when I got this vehicle, who's name it's in and so forth!

Rk never transfered the plates from the trade in to the jeep!

The cop looked up the vin number, it came up in my husbands and my name. He believed me that it was my Jeep. He knew that. He wasn't trying to cause more problems then need be. But he told me that by looking all this information up that they never transfered the plates.

That they ordered new plates and they weren't even ordered until January 29th of 2003!

Now, everythings settled with that. I even have the f*ng license plate transfer receipt with my Jeep information!

I don't see a reason to drag this story on any more then I already have. But now do YOU really want to buy a car from RK? I hope not.
