I purchased a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Cal Worthington on April 20. Several days, later I noticed a loud whining noise, power steering leak, low oil and transmission fluids. Today, June 8, this will be the 3rd time I returned the Jeep to Cal Worthington to be fixed. (they have not fixed the leak) I took the Jeep to Cal Worthington before the 30 days warranty was up.
The first time I took the Jeep to be serviced I specially stated that there as a loud whining noise. The service tech stated that the noise was "normal". Today, I had my child in the Jeep when I heard a spraying noise and my steering wheel was extremely hard to turn. I nearly got into an accident and pulled over and saw the red fluid draining out the front of the Jeep. I called the tow truck service and the worker noticed the fluid was leaking out of a bent transmission line next to the fan. My car was towed to Cal Worthington.
What do I do? I paid over $10,000 for a Jeep that is not safe to drive. I am a single parent making payments on this vehicle. Is there any legal assistance that I could be able to access? Thanks
