I was notified @8:30am on 12/30/08 of a delivery (wine for New Years dinner) that would require an adult signature. Stayed home all day. No delivery. Next day checked tracking # and it stated "receiver was unavailable to sign on the 1st delivery attempt". Rescheduled delivery: 01/02/09 (too late). I can always hear truck (live down a gravel driveway) and no notice left on door. They've been here several times over Xmas holiday. Guess driver decided to take afternoon off. Will wait again tomorrow. Unhappy!
P.S. Would really like to complain direct to UPS!
