I bought a bike from The Bike Exchange off eBay that was advertised as flawless, needing nothing but a rider. They shipped a different bike with over 15 differences from the pictures. The bike has many cosmetic flaws not disclosed and would not even start up. The shifter linkage was damaged costing over $400 to repair. It needed a battery costing $149. I had to buy a new seat for $299 because of a hole in it. The Bike Exchange refused to take the bike back saying all sales are final. The bikes they list on eBay don't have Vin numbers in their listings. Steve, the owner, said in a phone conversation that he would ship me a replacement windshield, seat, primary cover, and spring but he never came through with shipping them out. From the research I have done most of the bikes they sell are repo bikes that were neglected. Do not buy any bike from them without seeing it in person.
