In August I bought a Sebring from this company. First off as soon as I got this car home I did an oil change, flushed the radtiadtor, new tranmission filter & flush, new plugs & wires. They said they did an oil change on it NO WAY that oil was black & the oil filter was rusted. LIARS! They said they checked all the fluid levels LIARS the tranmission fluid was so low it didn't even read on the dip stick!!! When I brought this to there attention the next day they blamed it on there Michigan dealer cuz that's where the car came from. LIARS!!! Second this car had low profile tires on it. I was told you could put normal size tires on it that the low profile was proably from a teenager who owned the car before. Well I didn't know any better I've never owned a car with low profile tires on them. So when I went to the tire company 2 weeks later they told me that NO I could not put normal sized tires on it. Plus I had 2 bent rims (inside not outside so you couldn't see it) which were $500.00 for 2 rims plus 2 tires had busted belts inside the tire & there was a bubble in them. I walked out of there $820.00 later for 2 rims & 2 tires.
The following week I was 1 day late on my payment & they threatened to come pick the vechile up if I wasn't there by 5:00pm. I told them I was @ work & couldn't make it by 5:00 but I would put payment in drop box. Basically I was told to bad get here by 5:00 or they'll pick the car up from my work. This company will NOT work with you @ all if your late. God forbide you loose your job & have to wait for your unemployment to go through. They'll take your car in the meantime.
In October the alternator went out in my car. I had to have the car towed in @ $100.00 for the tow. Then they said the pully system that runs your main belt was also bad. All of that had to be replaced. This cost $1,125.00 BIG Repair bill after only owning this car for 2 months.
Now were in Feburary 2009 I've only owned this car for 6 months & the transmission is out plus the air conditioning unit is making all kinds of nosie the engine light is on. Had to have the car towed to shop again for another $100.00 plus the repair shop went through the entire car & with putting a new transmission in the car & everything alse that's wrong with the car I'm looking @ around $2,500.00 GREAT & of course the people @ Superior Auto are like oh well, to bad, don't know what to tell you, but you still have to make your payments, or they'll come get the car sell it at auction for $500.00 & take you to court for the balance.
All in all by the time I get done with these repairs I will have already paid appox. $5,000.00 in repairs in only 6 months of owning this car. Which takes the toal of my car plus repairs so far not including future repairs to a grand total of $19,000.00 for a 1999 car!!!
BUYER BEWARE shop around before you ever buy a car from there.
